“Mary picked up an alabaster jar filled with nearly a litre of extremely rare and costly perfume—the purest extract of nard, and she anointed Jesus’ feet. Then she wiped them dry with her long hair. And the fragrance of the costly oil filled the house.”

John‬ ‭12‬:‭3

These are the builders of our Prayer Room. We have called them our Levites team as a prophetic declaration that just like the levitical priests in the Bible, they are called to build a house of prayer, tend to the house of God, and minister to Jesus. If you're interested in leading and getting involved in the prayer room, say hi and reach out to any of these!

We believe the levitical language is important because out of the 12 tribes that existed in the Bible, it was the tribe of Levi that was tasked to carry the presence of God and the ark of the Lord. Although this is Old Testament language, the New Testament application is that we are ALL called to be priests and kings before the Lord! By using this
language we are trying to capture the significance of being set apart to minister to Jesus, and how we are ALL 'levites' (priests)! We are all called to minister to the Lord, we are all called to bring a sacrifice of praise, and as we frequently gather in the prayer room we are living out the call to a priestly duty before the Lord. 1 Chronicles 15:2, 1 Peter 2:5, Revelation 1:5-6, 5:9-10
